Domain of 24 ha established at the same time on the appellations of Pouilly Fumé & Pouilly-sur-Loire but also on the Côtes de la Charité since 2016. Domain where 6 generations have succeeded working Sauvignon and Chasselas on sandy soils, limestone, marl and flint clay in Pouillyssois and chardonnay & pinot noir on clay-limestone soils in Charitois.

The family does not hesitate to combine tradition and modernity by building a gravity cellar to preserve the quality of the juices, using tapered & ovoidal containers and matures its vintages in barrels in the traditional family cellar.

Having been part of the process of respecting the environment for years, the estate is in the process of being converted into "organic farming".

Tasting and Food-pairing
Taste and nose Golden color, milky nose, very frankly on butter with some hints of white fruit and smoke. The attack on the palate is fleshy and dense. Final on nuts.
Food pairing This wine generally goes well with snails, asparagus, marinated mussels, smoked salmon, pike quenelles, white meats with cream (veal blanquette, bites à la Reine), fish in sauce, cheeses (Comté, époisse …)
Vintage 2018
Grape Variety Chardonnay
Soils/exposition Chalky-clay
Vinification Manual harvest, in boxes of 25kg. 2 fermentations: alcoholic fermentation followed in spring by malolactic fermentation in demi-muids bringing fat and complexity to the wine. Aging in centuries-old cellars.
